Spring is in the air. Before we get going with our Spring themes, here is how we wrapped up winter...
Older groups had some fun with our idioms board. Students discussed and defined over 30 common idioms then chose their favorite to post outside of the speech room. Some of the favorites:
Many groups got to follow directions to make "snow dough" in February. It's a super easy recipe to try at home...Mix about 3 cups of Baking Powder with about 1/2 cup of hair Conditioner (White Rain Coconut smells great and doesn't cost a lot) and we added glitter, of course!

- use toys to work on prepositions with the dough (through, over, under, around, in, out, etc...
- PERFECT for working on that 's' sound!
